Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and BetterFit LLC (“BetterFit”, “we”) for using betterfitjobs.com. By using BetterFit, you agree to them. Questions: info@betterfitjobs.com.

Your account

Keep your sign-in safe and your information true. You are responsible for what happens in your account. You must be 16 or older to use BetterFit.

Job seekers

BetterFit is free for job seekers. You decide what to share and with whom, as described in our Privacy Policy. We help you find a good fit, but we do not guarantee interviews, offers or employment.

Employers

• You may manage a company on BetterFit only if you are allowed to act for it.
• Jobs you post must be real, open, lawful, and follow equal employment opportunity laws. No fees charged to applicants, and no misleading pay or job details.
• Use candidate information only to consider people for your jobs, and never sell or share it.
• You are responsible for your hiring decisions and your interviews.

Employer plans and billing

• Founding Employer offer: your first 90 days are free, with no card required. They start when you post your first job. We never charge you without your OK.
• To keep hiring after that, you can subscribe for $25/month, billed monthly by Stripe. If you subscribe during your free days, billing starts when they end.
• Cancel any time from your plan page. Your plan stays on until the end of the month you paid for, and we do not refund partial months.
• If your plan ends, your jobs pause until you subscribe again.

Text message alerts

• Program: BetterFit Alerts. Optional texts about your interviews, new messages, and match summaries, only if you turn them on at betterfitjobs.com/alerts.
• Frequency: message frequency varies with your activity. Message and data rates may apply.
• To stop: reply STOP at any time. You will get one text confirming you are unsubscribed. You can also turn texts off on the alerts page.
• For help: reply HELP, or email info@betterfitjobs.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Agreeing to texts is not required to use BetterFit.

Using BetterFit fairly

Please don't post anything false, harassing, discriminatory or illegal; don't pretend to be someone else; don't collect other people's information; and don't try to break, overload or scrape the site. We may remove content or close accounts that break these terms.

Your content

You own what you post. You let us store and show it as needed to run BetterFit (for example, showing your job post on search engines, or your profile to employers as the Privacy Policy describes).

No warranties and limits on liability

BetterFit is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free. To the extent the law allows, BetterFit is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do; important changes will be emailed. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire.
